This Store Credit Policy applies to “https://www.jwbasics.com” and “https://freelancer.jwbasics.com” (hereinafter, "us", "we", “our”, "store", "the store", "website", "this website", “www.jwbasics.com”, "https://www.jwbasics.com", "freelancer.jwbasics.com" or "https://freelancer.jwbasics.com").
JW Basics is a customer-focused E-Commerce company, and we understand that not all customers have access to a Credit or Visa Debit card to shop online. Although we do not support Cash on Delivery at this time, we currently offer Store Credit as an alternative and safer solution.
How Does It Work?
Customers who do not have access to a Credit or Visa Debit card may Contact Us using the online form requesting our Banking Information. This email must come from the email address associated with your JW Basics Customer Account. The customer is then required to Transfer the amount they require to shop online, including applicable taxes and fees, if any, and submit the Transactions ID or Receipt via email. Once the Transfer is validated, JW Basics will then apply the equivalent store credit balance to the customer's account. Once the customer selects an item from the Store, on checkout, they will not be required to use a card to complete the transaction, however, their store credit balance will be charged for the price of the item, applicable taxes, and fees.
Store Credit Value
The value of our store credit is $1 to $1 therefore, we do not charge our customers for using this service. For example, if you transferred $100 USD to our Bank account, we will apply $100 USD worth of store credit to purchase item(s) from the store. At this time, the currency of our Store Credit is solely in US Dollars. If a customer wishes to purchase Store Credit using Jamaican Dollars, JW Basics will provide the USD equivalent worth of Store Credit to that said customer's account using Our internal currency conversion rates.
Please note that JW Basics will not apply store credit to an account without a copy of the Transaction ID or Receipt for the transferred amount.
Store Credit is non-refundable and non-reversible after the funds are transferred to our Bank Account and all balance(s) left after your Transaction(s) will remain on your account indefinitely until used by purchasing an item from the Store. JW Basics will not participate in transferring Store Credit to a customer's Bank Account.
Store credit will also automatically be removed from your Order Total and can also be used in conjunction with a Credit or Visa Debit Card. For example, if you are purchasing an item for $50 from the Store and you have $10 worth of Store Credit, the Store Credit balance will be applied automatically while you will be charged $40 for the Transaction.
Your use of this Service constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the terms, in whole or in part, please stop using this Service.
Changes to this Policy
Although most changes are likely to be very minor, we may change our Store Credit Policy from time to time, and in our sole discretion. We encourage our visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to our Store Credit Policy. Your continued use of this Service after any change in this Store Credit Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using this Service.
